The Council of the Baltic Sea States
The Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) is a regional forum for inter-governmental cooperation, established in 1992. Its membership consists of eleven states of the Baltic Sea Region (including Poland, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) and the European Commission. Since 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016 the presidency in the CBSS was held by Poland. More information on Polish presidency priorities you may find at:

Department of North European Countries of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, established in 2010, conducts research on Nordic countries and Polish-Nordic relations.

The Scientific Foundation Norden Centrum, established in 2011, is an independent research and education centre, focused on Nordic countries.
On its website you will find information on Nordic countries, including the Nordic Monitor, analyses as well as reviews on interesting publications on Nordic countries.

Centre for International Relations (CIR), established in 1996, is an independent centre conducting analyses, focused on the international relations and Polish foreign policy. On the CIR’s website you will find publications on international relations, including comments, analyses, reports and recommended books.

The Polish Institute of International Affairs, established under 1996 Act, is a state organisational unit conducting research, preparing analyses, expert opinions and prognostic studies in the field of international relations. On the Intitute’s website you will find publications on these topics.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency. On the website you will find, among others, publications on foreign investments in Poland (including Nordic investments), sectoral reports and information about the European Union funds.

The Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce (SPCC) is an economic self-government, aiming at, among others, promoting economic relations between Poland and Nordic countries. On the SPCC’s website you will find also information on Nordic countries and examples of best practices.
